Letters and opinions
- A specific structural or building question
- Observed conditions and supporting records
- Findings, limitations and recommendations
- Additional access or calculations identified
If an inspector or reviewer asks for an engineer's letter, send the full request and project records. We prepare engineering letters and supporting details for specific questions about the building or completed work. Findings reflect accessible conditions and the agreed scope.
The wording from the reviewer, inspector or insurer helps define the evaluation. Covered work may need additional access. Some failed items can be corrected by the contractor; engineering support is scoped for the items that need our findings, calculations or details.
We provide routine field support in Orlando and Orange County, including Winter Park, Maitland, Conway and Dr. Phillips. For properties in Seminole, Osceola or Lake County, we review the records and confirm visit availability before agreeing to the evaluation.
Explore local coverage and site visitsOur evaluation supports the permit record. It does not replace a required jurisdiction inspection or approval, and the building department decides whether the documentation addresses the item.
We review the records and photos first. If they do not establish the conditions, we identify the access, site observations or other information needed before a conclusion can be issued.
Send the address, the exact written request, inspection record and photos. Include available plans and any information about concealed work.
