Building plans for your Orlando project

Discuss your project

Tell us how you want to use the space. Our in-house licensed PE prepares most residential plans, including the layout and engineering. For commercial projects and work requiring an architectural seal, we work with a licensed Orlando architect.

Plan the space

  • Existing and proposed floor plans
  • Room layouts, dimensions and circulation
  • Elevations, sections and opening schedules
  • Demolition and new construction identified

Coordinate the permit set

  • Accessibility and life safety items for the scope
  • Roof, wall and floor relationships
  • Engineering sheets checked against the layout
  • Revision notes and responses to review comments

Start with the building and the way you use it

For an addition, we review how the new rooms meet the existing house. For a commercial suite, we work through the business operation, access and building systems before developing the layout. You can start with a sketch; we identify the measurements and records still needed.

Orlando and nearby communities

We prepare permit plans for owners in Orlando, including College Park, Conway, Lake Nona and downtown, as well as Winter Park, Maitland and nearby Orange County communities. Send the address so we can confirm the reviewing jurisdiction.

Before we start

Can I start with a contractor's sketch?

Yes. Send the sketch, available measurements and photos. We review what can be used and what needs to be verified or developed for the permit drawings.

Who prepares and seals the documents?

Most residential permit plans are prepared, signed and sealed in-house by our licensed PE. We develop the layout, structural details and other drawings needed for the agreed scope. We work with a licensed Orlando architect for commercial projects and any scope requiring an architectural seal. Our in-house PE prepares and seals the engineering plans.
